Project for 2026 "Winning Back the House"
Robert Hubbell - June 3, 2026
The Keystone Turnout Project
Robert Hubbell was our special guest on June 3 at 8 p.m. EDT supportingThe Keystone Turnout Project, which raised funds to win Pennsylvania elections.
Robert Hubbell writes a Substack newsletter “Today’s Edition” that he describes as “A reflection on today’s news through the lens of hope.”
His newsletter started in 2017 as an effort to provide hope and perspective to his family after the unexpected results of the 2016 election. Over time the family email was shared among friends and became a community of like-minded citizens devoted to preserving American democracy.
Since 2020, Friday Action volunteers have sent thousands of postcards and letters and contributed significant dollars to help Bucks County, Pennsylvania (PA) build a successful Democratic turnout program. This program is now expanding across PA as the “Keystone Turnout Project.”
The objective for November, 2026 is to elect Democrats in three key districts. With early support of this expansion, our contributions will make it possible.

The States Project / SGCC
You missed Jessica Craven hosting the Friday Action Fundraiser for SGCC and the States Project but you can still donate .

SGCC is one of the most effective political grassroots groups in the country. They find under-the radar winnable campaigns in swing districts, places where the balance of power is often hanging by a thread. Starting as a coalition of politically concerned children’s book authors in 2016, SGCC has helped to flip more than 70 legislative seats, helped Democrats take power in six chambers, created three blue trifectas, and blocked two GOP supermajorities. Read about SGCC here.
