Jodi Habush Sinykin
Candidate for the Wisconsin State Senate
Jodi Habush Sinykin is a Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s 8th State Senate District.
This race couldn’t be more important! If a Republican wins, the Wisconsin State Legislature will have a super majority to override the Democratic Governor’s veto, to reinstate an 1849 ban on all abortions, to limit the voting rights of people of color and young people, to impeach any and all Democratic state office holders, and interfere in the 2024 presidential race if a GOP candidate loses this toss-up state.
Jodi is an environmental activist, community advocate, and coalition builder able to work across the aisle. After receiving a Harvard law degree in 1992, she clerked for a federal district court judge and then went into private practice, ultimately as a partner at the Wisconsin-based law firm of Habush Habush and Rottier. She understands and will represent a broad range of her constituent’s concerns.
